The Covid-19 pandemic made life harder for millions across the globe, including our brothers and sisters back in our homeland. Antigua and Barbuda Progressive Society, Inc. put together a large care package for the senior citizens at the Fiennes Institute in Antigua.
The package consisted of wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs, commodes, walking sticks, crutches and adult diapers. It was shipped to the island and collected by charity members of the Antigua Lions Club (seen donned in golden jackets), along with former ABPS President Sis. Jasmine Mack, now retired in Antigua.
A crisis is not an excuse to reduce our efforts, rather it is when we must double our work. We got creative, found trusted partners and continued our mission to help those in need.
