The Antigua & Barbuda Progressive Society closed out the year in true community style with our Annual Holiday Party and Toy Drive. It was an evening filled with laughter, culture, and togetherness at our Harlem home.
Following our December General Meeting, members, board directors, and friends gathered to celebrate the season, sharing food, fellowship, and the warmth that has defined ABPS for over 90 years. The space came alive with conversation, music, and the unmistakable feeling of being among family.
🍽️ A Potluck Powered by Community
One of the highlights of the evening was our holiday potluck, made special by the generosity of our members and friends. The table reflected both tradition and creativity, featuring favorites such as fried chicken, fried fish, stew pork, wraps, sorrel, and more — each dish a reminder that food is one of the most powerful ways we connect.
The spirit of giving extended beyond the kitchen, as members also contributed through cash and toy donations, helping ensure the evening was welcoming and abundant for all.
