On Monday, December 1st, 2025, members of the Antigua & Barbuda Progressive Society (ABPS) proudly gathered at Bowling Green Park in Manhattan  for the official Antigua & Barbuda Flag Raising Ceremony , hosted in partnership with the NYC Department of Correction . Surrounded by community members, dignitaries, cultural leaders, and supporters from all over, we celebrated not only our nation’s independence — but also the resilience, unity, and spirit of Antiguans and Barbudans
