The Antigua & Barbuda Progressive Society’s Pre-Labor Day Fish Fry was a joyful success, uniting community members and friends in celebration on August 23rd. Guests gathered at our Harlem headquarters from 1 PM to 6 PM to enjoy traditional island dishes, including red snapper, porgy, whiting sandwiches, and fried chicken — each meal complemented by three hearty sides. Desserts and drinks added an extra touch of sweetness to the occasion, creating a full dining experience.
More than a fundraiser, the Fish Fry highlighted the Society’s enduring mission to preserve culture, build community, and
celebrate our heritage. Attendees enjoyed not only delicious food but also the opportunity to connect with one another in an atmosphere filled with warmth and camaraderie. We extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended and look forward to welcoming you at our upcoming events.
